Frozen Jr. in Cedartown

On June 2nd, I received a call from McCall Pirkle. She contacted me to see if I would be interested in being the Music Director for Frozen Jr. during the Children's Enrichment's annual kids Musical Theatre Camp, at the Cedartown Performing Arts Center. I was surprised to be asked. Julianne had introduced me to McCall, one day when we had lunch at her father's Deli. Since we shared a love of children's musicals, we became Facebook friends. I hadn't heard from her since. I realize it was an opportunity God was giving me, but it was out of the realm of my normal Children's Music activities, so I was not sure why. McCall and I talked again 4 days later, at which time, she gave me the Music Director's book, and a rehearsal CD. The 2 week Theater Camp started on July 15th, and ended on July 26th, with the Presentation being that night. A HUGE blessing in this event, was that Heather Adams could come and play the piano for me in rehearsals. Because I was involved, Addison and Heather could attend for free (Tuition usually $150 each.) Addison and Heather both auditioned and received solo's in the presentation.
