Music Studio Upgrades

When someone called me and asked if I could record them in my studio, I talked to my mentor/tutor/advisor, Steve Rogers about it. He recommended some changes to my studio if I were going to get serious about recording. I sent him a drawing of the room and a list of my equipment. He made a list of some good equipment, and drew out his suggestions for better sound proofing. The task is now complete, and I'm ready to get back to recording and try it out!
BEFORE Sending a layout drawing to Steve Rogers. Steve's recommendation for soundproofing. I put the curtain back up after the soundproofing, and started working on setting up the new equipment. I was convinced (after some teasing) that I needed to take the curtains down. getting started Bass Traps UP! Working on the back wall. Back wall complete! Working on side wall. One side wall is smaller, so to fit, the soundproofing needed to be together. The other wall, I spread them out a bit. John installed new lights, and the sound clouds on the ceiling. Recording area. My work space. AFTER! It's finally complete, and ready to record.
