Flying Start Music was started as a dream of mine to write a children's musical. My husband was behind me all the way.

 

Things were going great as I began writing children's music and using my daughter and grandchildren and friends to help with the recordings, that is, until I discovered my husband had a hidden life of unfaithfulness and infidelity.  We separated and our marriage of 43 years almost ended. My husband and I are back together now, but our extended family has fallen apart. 

 

After asking God "What am I supposed to do now?" I understood a message that God was changing my life and changing my music. I'm keeping a flight theme for the website, but it now includes songs that reflect navigating life. That includes songs about ’pilot deviations‘ and ’course corrections‘. Although vulnerability is hard, my husband has owned up to his mistakes, and is still behind me all the way.
